WIBO Spring 2019 Commencement Journal
WIBO's Mission Statement
WIBO’s mission is to enable small business owners and budding entrepreneurs from underserved communities to obtain financial success by starting, operating, and building successful businesses that develop economic power, provide jobs and improve communities.
What WIBO Does
WIBO helps individuals who want to build profitable businesses to provide for themselves and their families via their business. That often applies to women, those recently released from prisons, individuals from communities that lack access to knowledge, networks, and capital; it often includes African Americans and Latinos trying to close the historic wealth gap. WIBO’s mantra is “Sustainable businesses sustain jobs and communities.”
Our target market is individuals who want to build profitable businesses to provide for themselves and their families and be financially independent via their business. That applies to women, those recently released from prisons, individuals looking to build a new source of income through entrepreneurship but lack resources in how to do it.
