Elroye is a lifelong learner. He worked at the community level on the Lower Eastside of Manhattan for over a decade. He retired from City Service after 33 years of service. That included working with Parks Department’s Recreation Division, NYCHA’s Community Service Division and NYC Department of Transportation’s training unit. He has a degree in Training Development and is a certified Rapid Instructional Design Facilitator. Father of four, adopted by one, Grandfather to six and Great Grandfather to one.
