Last week, we celebrated the hard work, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit of our newest WIBO graduates! These entrepreneurs committed themselves to building stronger businesses, learning new skills, and investing in their futures. We are proud of everything this cohort has accomplished and excited to see what comes next for each of their businesses and dreams. Congratulations to the WIBO Graduating Cohort of 2026! The event was generously hosted by Queens College and a heartfelt speech was given by Queens College president Frank Wu. The commencement address was delivered by WIBO alumni and board chair Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant with words also shared by WIBO interim executive director Ted Geier and longtime volunteers and board members Mike Blumenfeld and Kevin Gilbert. Many graduates also had their products and services on display.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Fran Holt, WIBO alumni and founder of Holt Computer Training and Ying Zhou, executive director of The Tech Incubator at Queens College for partnering with us to support entrepreneurs, small business growth, and community empowerment. Partnerships like these help create meaningful opportunities for aspiring and established business owners to learn, grow, and build stronger futures for themselves and their communities.
